Visit the world famous Mont St. Michel, 20 min drive, or for the more adventurous either follow a guided walk across the shifting sands of the huge bay or pony trek along the foreshore. The interesting and lively coastal towns of St Malo and Dinard with their lovely sandy beaches and rugged coastline, the winding streets of medieval Dinan at the head of the beautiful River Rance estuary (boat trips available) and the impressive border castles (to keep the French out!) of Fougères and Vitre are all within 1 hour drive. International airport: Dinard 65 km.
