DescriptionLe Rouergue holiday park is situated in a green park of 4 ha in the Aveyron region, known for its historic buildings dating from the Middle Ages. The park contains 42 apartments and lies directly on the pilgrimage route leading to Santiago de Compostela. It is 1.5 km from the village of Espalion. Facilities of the park include a TV room, table tennis, table football, free WIFI, various sports fields, a playground, laundry, swimming pool with children's pool and parking. The children swimming pool is open from early June to mid-September. You can buy bread on the spot during July and August. For an additional fee you can reserve a linen set, bathroom set, final cleaning and/or a TV. You can also request a free baby kit (bed, bath, highchair). On-site you can borrow a baby carrier for hiking. These extra packages are to be paid locally. For children there are various child / youth clubs ranging in age from 6 to 14. For adults there are organized excursions and evening programs. Pets will allowed for an additional fee provided they have a current vaccination certificate. Breeds such as pit bulls, etc. are not allowed. Shops are located 1.5 km away.

Local areaThe tourist attractions and sporting activities near Espalion are quite diverse. There are a wide range of castles and beautiful towns such as the medieval Sainte-Foy abbey-church in Conques, Belcastel, Sauveterre-de-Rouerges, Rodez and many more. Sports activities include canoeing / kayaking on the Lot River, canyoning, climbing, fishing, donkey rides, caving, mountain biking (300 km of routes!) and walking. One of the most famous trails in this area is the route to Santiago de Compostela. The total length of routes around Espalion is 100 km, which can be made on foot, by horseback or mountain bike. The distance from Utrecht is 1080 km.
