This wonderful holiday park is located in the Provencal hinterland, near the town of Gordes which has the title one of the most beautiful villages in France. This park is situated on the flanks of a mountain and contains several acres of oak trees. Facilities include a non-heated pool of 15 x 7 meters (sunbeds available for a fee) with separate children's pool, a bowling alley, table tennis and parking. Bed linen is included in the price. For an extra fee you can reserve towels, a baby kit and/or the final cleaning. These can be paid locally. Pets are not allowed. The town of Gordes with its shops is just 2 km away.

Local area

Gordes, which has received the title �one of the prettiest villages of France�, has remained very authentic and even has its own magnificent castle. This castle was originally built in 1031 and then rebuilt in 1525. The village also has beautiful streets and houses built of local stone. It breathes an atmosphere of ancient stories and legends. In Gordes there is also a museum dedicated to a resident from this village, the Flemish artist Pol Mara. In terms of culture, you will find more than enough, including castles, Romanesque churches and a variety of museums. The beautiful lavender fields present a sight to behold while their delicious fragrance invite you for a wonderful walk or bicycle ride. Other sporting activities include horseback riding, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, hot air balloon rides and much more. Provencal week and the flea markets are also very popular with tourists. And finally, last but not least, the Provencal cuisine simply has to be tried!
