Catalan village of Maureillas 1 km for basic shops located in the foothills of the Pyrénées. Further shops in Céret and Le Boulou 4 km. Visit Spain, the mountains and the beach all on the same day. For culture there is a Dali museum in Figueras and the museum of Modern Art in Céret. Ideal for nature lovers as well as hiking and biking enthusiasts with many marked trails to follow, many directly from the villa. Sandy beaches of Argelès only 20 km. Golf in Saint Laurent de Cerdant, a spectacular mountain course and Saint Cyprien on the coast. Airport: Perpignan 33 km.
This lovely villa provides views over the valley, and is the last house on a cul-de-sac on the edge of a forested hill. A private peaceful location perfect for enjoying the outdoors, including the private pool 8 x 4 x 1.5-1.9m depth (security system TBC). The veranda offers superb views over the valley of Roussillon. There is also a summer kitchen and delightful BBQ area, wonderful for enjoying the warm evenings. Outside WC. Access to the forest is easy from the rear garden making the property very open.
